Our Background

This is
HTFR

Founded in 2017 & Legal personality received in 2020.

Humuriza Tamar Foundation is a Christian non-profit organization founded in Rwanda. Based on the story of Tamar in the Bible (2 Sam 13:1-19), who faced violence and was cast out alone, HTFR comforts and cares for young mothers who are victims of rape, gender-based violence, and their children.

Over time, we expanded our work to support street children, young women headed households, and tackle environmental challenges, aiming for a healthy, sustainable society.

Our Vision
